PipTalk — Privacy Policy
What we collect: nothing. PipTalk has no ads, no analytics and no third-party code that collects data, and nothing about you or your child is ever sent to us. We have no servers that receive it.
What stays on this device: each learner's first name (optional), progress, stars and settings, so the app can remember them. Your phone's own backup (iCloud or Google) may include this data, as it does for any app.
Saving to your own cloud: there is no sign-in and no account. On iPhone and iPad, every learner's progress and the app's settings are also saved in your own iCloud, with the Apple Account the device already uses, in storage only PipTalk can use, so they come back on a new iPhone or iPad and stay the same on each of them. On Android, the phone's own backup to your Google Account keeps them, when backup is on in the phone's settings. Either way they go only to your account, never to us, and Apple or Google keeps them under its own privacy policy.
The natural voice: on phones, the app downloads the voice once from GitHub, where the open-source voice is published. No personal information is sent. The voice itself is made on the device and never sent anywhere.
Microphone (off unless it's turned on in setup or Settings): when the learner reads aloud to Pip, speech is recognised on this device only, to follow the reading and help with hard words; if the device can't do this offline, the feature isn't offered. When learners record themselves to listen back, the recording is played on this device and deleted straight away. No audio or transcript is ever stored, uploaded or shared.
Backup codes: a backup code contains your learners' progress. It is created only when you copy it in Settings and goes only where you paste it.
Deleting data: reset or delete a learner in Settings › Learners, which does the same in your iCloud. "Delete all data" there deletes every learner on this device and PipTalk's copy in your iCloud, and your other iPhones and iPads remove those learners too. Deleting the app deletes everything on the device, but not the copy in your iCloud: use Delete all data first to remove that as well. On Android, the phone's next backup replaces its copy in your Google Account.
Children: PipTalk is for learners of every age, from young children to adults studying for EIKEN Grade 1, and it's safe for children: no ads, no purchases, no tracking and no links out of the app. It follows Google Play's Families policy.

収集する情報： ありません。PipTalk には広告、分析ツール、データを収集する第三者のコードはなく、あなたやお子さまに関する情報が私たちに送られることは一切ありません。そうした情報を受け取るサーバーもありません。
端末に保存される情報： 各学習者の名前（任意）、学習の進捗、スター、設定です。アプリが内容を覚えておくために、この端末に保存されます。ほかのアプリと同様に、端末自体のバックアップ（iCloud や Google）に含まれる場合があります。
ご自身のクラウドへの保存： サインインもアカウントも不要です。iPhone・iPad では、すべての学習者の進捗とアプリの設定が、端末でお使いの Apple Account のご自身の iCloud（PipTalk だけが使える保存領域）にも保存され、新しい iPhone・iPad でも元どおりになり、どの端末でも同じ進捗で続けられます。Android では、端末の設定でバックアップがオンなら、端末のバックアップがご自身の Google アカウントに保存します。どちらも保存先はご自身のアカウントだけで、私たちに送られることはなく、Apple または Google がそれぞれのプライバシーポリシーのもとで管理します。
自然な声： スマートフォンでは、オープンソースの声が公開されている GitHub から、声を一度だけダウンロードします。個人情報は送られません。声はこの端末の中で作られ、どこにも送信されません。
マイク（初期設定または設定でオンにした場合のみ）： 学習者がピップに音読するとき、音読を追いかけて難しい単語を手伝うために、音声をこの端末内だけで認識します。端末がオフラインで認識できない場合、この機能は表示されません。自分の声を録音して聞き返す場合は、この端末で再生したあと、すぐに削除します。音声や文字起こしを保存・アップロード・共有することは一切ありません。
バックアップコード： 学習者の進捗を含みます。設定でコピーしたときにだけ作成され、貼り付けた場所以外には送られません。
データの削除： 設定の「学習者」で学習者をリセットまたは削除すると、iCloud でも同じようにリセット・削除されます。同じ画面の「すべてのデータを削除」では、この端末のすべての学習者と iCloud にある PipTalk のデータが削除され、ほかの iPhone・iPad からもその学習者が削除されます。アプリを削除すると端末内のデータはすべて削除されますが、iCloud のデータは残ります。iCloud のデータも消すには、先に「すべてのデータを削除」を使ってください。Android では、次回のバックアップで Google アカウント内のコピーも置き換えられます。
お子さまについて： PipTalk は、小さなお子さまから英検1級を目指す大人まで、あらゆる年齢の学習者のためのアプリです。広告・購入・トラッキング・アプリ外へのリンクはなく、お子さまも安心して使えます。Google Play のファミリー向けポリシーに従っています。
