PipTalk is a free English-learning app for every age, with Pip, a round little bird, as the guide. Learners read 148 stories and articles across nine levels, from first words to advanced English, and read them aloud to Pip: with the microphone on, Pip follows word by word and helps with hard words, and speech is recognised on the device only. Any word can be tapped for its meaning in seven languages.

In Speak, learners travel the world in 233 conversations, a trip for every level, and practise 180 everyday situations, from the doctor to a job interview, each written for all nine levels. Daily Review and four games bring back every word they meet, and a hero of their own grows stronger as they learn.

Young children use PipTalk with a grown-up nearby; school students and adults use it on their own. There’s no sign-in, no ads, no tracking and no in-app purchases, and it works offline. Progress stays on the device, or in the family’s own iCloud on iPhone and iPad. PipTalk is out now on iPhone, iPad and Android.

PipTalk は、まあるい小鳥のピップと一緒に英語を学ぶ、あらゆる年齢のための無料アプリです。はじめての英語から上級まで、9つのレベルに148本の物語と記事。マイクをオンにしてピップに音読すると、ピップが1語ずつ追いかけて、難しい単語を手伝います。音声の認識は端末の中だけで行います。どの単語もタップすると、7つの言語で意味がわかります。

「話す」では、レベルごとの旅で233の会話を体験し、病院から仕事の面接まで、180の日常の場面を自分のレベルで練習できます。出会った単語は Daily Review と4つのゲームでくり返し練習でき、学ぶほど自分だけのヒーローが強くなります。

小さなお子さまはおうちの方と一緒に、小・中・高校生や大人の方はひとりで使えます。サインイン、広告、トラッキング、アプリ内課金はなく、オフラインでも使えます。進捗は端末に、iPhone・iPad ではご家族自身の iCloud にも保存されます。iPhone・iPad・Android 向けに公開中です。
